Next turn, at the upper end. Check out the wind blown top of Mt Hood.....looks
like it is really howling up there this morning.....not a good day to be on the
mountain. The cherry orchard in the immediate background has had some tough
mornings recently....temps in the 20's last week has taken it's toll on the young
    buds.

Both plows back in the ground...throttled pull ALL the way back. Notice the
extra weight on the side of the nose to help keep the nose down and the power hooked up.

A good shot of the plows....two five bottoms. Always fun to plow with two units, except on some nasty downhill turns!

    Default Awesome Shots

I'll bet she sounds awesome on those uphill pulls Nothing like a direct drive to let her lug down. How much extra weight hangs on the nose?

98j: Good to to see some more pictures. I thought everyone had quit plowing in your country. You must be moving right along in fifth gear. Keep pictures coming. Darrol

98J, I never cease to be entertained by your beautiful photos of Mt. Hood and the surroundings. Had a nice chat Easter Sunday with my cousin Raymond VanGilder of Wasco. He says the wheat is coming along just fine. He is eighty something years of age, and still runs the combine on the VanGilder ranch that his son Brian now owns. Thanks again for the absolutely stunning photos!!!!!
