Default Lost lock washer in clutch compartment of D7

Adjusting the clutch on the D7 17A and, as luck would have it, lost a lock washer, which rolled across the floorboards and fell right into the clutch compartment. It was for a 3/8 bolt. I do not see it in the teeth of any gears, and assume it has made its way to the bottom. The clutch lever feels fine. I assume its no big deal, but...better safe than sorry. Any problem with the lost washer?

It's never a good idea to have lose hardware floating around in an oil clutch but if it made it to the bottom it's probably ok as you are protected by the oil pump suction screen......or drain the oil and pull the suction filter and go fishing....then you know for sure.

If you ever get in there I'll bet you will find a lot more than your lockwasher in there.

    Default Amen

Amen to that 8C 361. I allways seem to find extra goodies (things lost by others) when I go fishing. You might even catch a boot.
