Question Member Photo Gallery Question to the Moderators

Is there a limit on how many pictures you can have in one album? I have a hundred or so to post but there's only 60 posted so far. Also how do you change their order? They downloaded all out of the order I want them.

hello side-seat ,you can have any amount of pictures in any album up to the 100.00 MB limit for the main album ,use it any way you want to,
picture uploading in order ,i think is the only way it is going to load them in the order you want is to upload them into the album one at a time after you upload them to your main album ,i just watched it upload pic and it load them any way it wanted ,not in the order of numbered or size of the picture , hope that help a bit ,bruce oz

Bruce, thank you for handling the Q&A's. You are pretty good at handling the techie stuff.

    Confused

I must be maxed out because I went in and removed 2 pictures and now the upload button has reappeared
I guess I'll have to go back and resize all my pictures because my originals were around 2mb each. But when they uploaded they came down to: about 65kb but I guess that's because they're thumbnails. My mistake

hello side-seat ,sounds like your pic size was the problem .2mb would only give you 50 pic ,you will need to re size all your pic to the smaller size and then you will have room for more.
the best thing with this new program is you can reuse the same pictures in another post once there in the main album ,just post and when drag the pic into the new post .you can use the pic if it in a album or an old post.
i use vso image resizer program to do my pic ,it will re size them for b/b size plus keep the original size pic as well .quick and easy to use.its free if you can put up with it asking you to buy the update ,i just keep using it .

    .
one problem that one of the mods can have a look at is if there is a time on the insert link box ,it goes to quick to the link bar without letting you type in the text box ,it would make the post look better with the link being seen ?.

    B4D2,
What happened to the request to fix the picture order problem about a month ago......other than the band aid approach to load them one at a time.

Bruce, I am not sure I understand the problem. Is it within the confines of linking through to another photo hosting site? I do not use one, so am unfamiliar with the way they work.

OM, The "band aid" is not a temp fix, it's just a work-around until VBulletin creates a solution. I will inquire as to the status.
