Designed to be used with the Caterpillar DW20 tractor, the Caterpillar No. 456 scraper featured a capacity of 18 cu. yd. struck and 25 cu. yd. heaped. The No. 456 featured the "Low Bowl" design for bigger, faster loads. High apron lift and dozer-type ejection provided quick, positive ejection of material.
This highly detailed die-cast replica is being produced to pair with the previously released Caterpillar DW20. Features include: spring loaded cables, ability to raise and lower the scraper bowl, opening apron and moveable ejector. The model comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions for attaching to the DW20 with No. 27 cable control.
