April 4th members of these three chapters will be going on a tour of the former Bucyrus Plant now Cat Mining in South Milwaukee WI. Cat opened up 35 slots for us far more then they normally do. As of 6 PM tonight they are all full.
There will be a tour starting at 9:30 am then lunch on your own,Chapter 20 is having a meeting after that and tours of the the outstanding Museum they have at the property. This is something the late Lee Sorbel and I have been working on since Early Nov 2013. Lee was a member of all three chapters. I am hoping there are a lot of photos taken( I know none in the plant) but you can take all you want in the Museum. It sounds like it should be a good time.

I was luck enough to go on this tour a couple of years ago and would have done it again if my schedule worked out . It was a fascinating tour. I know everyone will enjoy it.

Thirty Five people from Chapters, 4, 20 and 3 took the tour of the South Milwaukee Plant. Several people I talked to enjoyed the tour and Museum. They have a excellent Museum. As I told the group before they went out be prepared to see some real BIG items and they did. Paul Johnson and his Tour Guides did a excellent job. We had people there from MN, IL and WI. I hope all had a good time as I wanted to see multi Chapters having a outing and having a good time at it.
