The next scheduled meeting and event for Chapter 18 will be on April 12, 2014, at Hastings Deering's Cat dealership at their new spare parts facility at 1123, Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge, Queensland. The itinerary as given to me by Lance Jones:
Their plan at this point is for Smoko at 10 am followed by a promo film, etc., and then tour through new Parts, Training and Small Equip. Assy area, followed by Lunch, [Barbie or Sandwiches] and then we can have a short meeting followed by a visit to Kerry Rd to see the BIG GEAR and probably back to where we started for a cuppa prior to heading home.
I would suggest planning on being there shortly before 10.00 am..

Northbound along Beaudesert Road from Mortimer Road toward Kerry Road as the traffic island in Beaudesert Road makes it a little rough trying to turn into the facility while Southbound. 'Sides, the 'Friends Of The Motoring Public' tend to take a dim view of any 'off-roading' in this area, even if it is only crossing the island to get to where you want to go. Humorless bunch.

Look for LOTSA yellow in their front yard. There is (some) off-street parking available in front of the building. Try not to use it all as I think they will want to be able to do their normal business even though
