Bruce - The G800 is listed in the 1936 pull grader catalog as being 8HP, not 5.5HP .. and this catalog lists the #44 and #66 as being the only P.C. grader models available.

Despite the fact that G T Barnards Caterpillar Product Guide book states that the #77 pull grader was built until 1942 .. there is no mention in the comprehensive 1936 pull grader catalog, of the #77 pull grader.
The catalog lists only the #66, #44, #33, and #22 graders, plus the Trailer Patrol grader and terracers.

The Cat SNID book right from Cat lists a 77 Grader & has a SN of 2A & up & the starting production of it is listed as 1930. That,s all I have on it.
