we have a d4 7j it is blowing hard out of the oil filler cap
1 is it piston rings 2is it stuck valve or valves;
can anybody post parts list d47j2780w pony moter

Sounds like the rings & probably the liners too are worn causing your problem with blowby by letting compression getting by the rings & going into the oil pan.If it was a valve you,d hear a miss (noise) in the exhaust & probably wouldn,t be running smoothly and have a miss.

Which parts of the pony motor do you need to see? The whole thing would take quite a bit of space.

Is the engine with the blowby the main or the pony motor?
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄
