Learned a little lesson. I had run over a small pine and it sprung back up just enough to point right at the screen and I didnt look behind me before backing up. It had broken off at this time so it wasnt coming in any further.

My serial number tag was severely corroded when I got the Cat, I was able to just make out the serial number but none of the other option numbers.
Would Caterpillar company have archive info on what this was equipped with and the numbers so I can have a replacement tag made?
It is a 10K and I believe a 1974.

If you remove the tag it will be stamped underneath.

I called a Houston Cat dealer and asked about sprocket segments and they told me they were discontinued, so I will check on aftermarket. I know theres a couple of independant track shops around houston, or I can have shipped from wherever. Should I buy new segment bolts too?
