You're welcome for the pictures and thanks for the compliments. Here's a few more pictures. Was able to get the holes for the cylinder pins drilled. That mag drill made pretty short work of the job.

Dont know if it's good luck or good living but we measured the bushings on my old track frames and they were all within cat spec. The inner bushings had a little more wear than the outer ones, and I'm thinking it's due to the condition of the seals letting in some dirt. The tolerance on these is pretty tight with new being. 002-.003 and max wear at .015.. The outer bushings measure right at new and the inner were in the .010 range. That passes for good enough in my book for a working hobby machine.
I had to sacrifice the track frame pivot tube to get the bearings out but it was pretty pitted and the chance that I would ever need them to build new frames is pretty small.

The bushings have the correct cat part number (4b 4122) but they also had JBCO stamped behind the cat number. Maybe these are aftermarket, or were outsourced by cat?

I should have said I was salvaging the bushings from my old frames to install in my rebuilt frames. After cutting the tube and pressing them out backwards I dont think there is a practical method to pull them out. I will be cutting the wore out ones from the rebuilt frames. I dont have the air arc option but I think a sawzall will work ok.

I wasn't going to mess with the rake until later but figured it would be nice to have everything blasted and painted all at the same time. I had most of the steel already so with what I bought and wire and gas I'm into it for about $100.

Looking forward to it. You should check into bringing parts across the border, might be able to make a horse trade deal to send you back with some parts.

Yes I'm sure we can work something out. Hopefully my work is ok with me crossing. They had a rule from beginning of March (over and above Gov regulation) for 14 day quarantine for anyone coming back into Canada. Two guys had to stay off work as they were coming back from vacations during this time. Will let you know for sure!

Those are some real nice looking parts there! That tractor has never known such love save for maybe the day the original owner brought her home!
