Dozer has a 4 way blade and the tilt cylinder hyd hose failed. Took it off and went to local welding shop and they had to cut the Cat fitting from the hose and bronze a coupling on it to adapt to the new hose. Worked great.

Is there a supplier that has these Cat fittings that can be crimped to a hyd hose? I understand Cat makes their own hyd hoses so this may not be a part that can be had. The fitting I am referring to is the one with 4 bolts that make a clamp that bolts directly on to the cylinder.

Should be able to get the parts separately.
The 90 degree stem assembly is a 3S8975
The 60 degree stem assembly is a 3S8973
The 45 degree stem assembly is a 3S8972
All use a 3S8606 sleeve.
I believe they are trade size "Group 61" fittings.

Next time post a picture or shoot me a MSG i am in the Hydrualic hose business and a fairly large Parker Distributor in the North East Texas area. I would be glad to help.

We have access to most all of the cat style fittings especially on the older machines. Its just in the last 10 years or so that we are really starting to see odd ball configurations of bent tubes crimped directly onto hoses. Its always been common on power steering and lower pressure lines generally 1000psi under. But here in the last few years all manufacturers have started coming up with some weird crap.
We generally can cut the tubes off and weld or braze on a spud like it sound like you have done. Which is honestly a better option. Because usually the hose fails and now you can just have a new hose made and keep the tube on the machine.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
