Can you clean and flush the filter out?thats all i did with my rd4.

Hope one of you can help, mine is a 1938 d6 2h5889w. Not sure how to download photos. But I pulled a sock covered looking element out of mine and would like to replace it. It is 6-5/8” tall 4-1/4” diameter and a 1” hole in center both sides.

My 75 takes 8B5935 which is the short filters, not sure if yours is the same.

What you have is not what the s/n normally dictates.Seems you have one of these shown in the pictures, unfortunately I do no have the element number. Maybe someone else can identify. Your dimensions do not match that of a 8B5935 element.

Yep that looks like the same motor but a much taller housing than mine.

5B5983 is the older style element, the 8B5935 is used in the change over group, late style,[full flow system?]
