What is the difference between canvas and portrait on the preference section?? Will our avatars be migrated over or do we have to upload a new one?

Looks like Canvas is th back ground photo on the bar above and portrait is your little photo on the side

What is the difference between canvas and portrait on the preference section?? Will our avatars be migrated over or do we have to upload a new one?

Portrait is the square image that appears on the forum. Canvas is the banner image that is at the top of your profile page.

Profile images are *hopefully* in the migration process, but they were some of the trickier things to transfer. It looks like some have transferred, but it wouldn't hurt to just upload a new one in the meantime.

Why does the site default to subscribing me to threads? I don't really need ACMOC spamming my email. Shouldn't the default be to not subscribe, and users can opt-in?
