Sorry to kick a dead subject but I have stared at this screen and searched until I am ready to go postal. I can't find Old Magnets thread on the electric starter conversion for the D4 7U. My back up pony didn't work and I want to try the electric starter conversion. My local shops are useless when I tell them what I want without a core or part number to go by. Is it a regular mt 50 off a truck? Cat or Cummins? Would like 12 volt but whatever. I did save the information for drilling the holes long ago but I don't want to start buying electric starters on a guess. Thanks for the help.

Hopefully OM will get with you despite all the new hurtless of the new system.

In the mean time start at the home page (the one you choose discussion or for sale and such) keep scrolling until you find SOURCES click that and again keep scrolling until you find STARTERS. Which has at least some of OM old information.


In case you are like me and need lots of help with the "new system" here. To check if someone private messaged you on the home page again click on he head and shoulders icon on the right side it brings up a list which includes private messages.
