Thank you for everyone's input. I did consider brazing it but if it were to crack or fail that would leave the pump and clutch without oil. It is a fairly simple piece so I think I will just fabricate it. I havent looked at it to close but hopefully the tube is just soldered to the connection block. If it is welded I will have to make the tube as well. I will try and call Florin tractor before I do any of that though. Thanks!

The manual I have says it is a "Servicesmens Reference Book". The book says it does cover the 7U serial number. The form number is 30521. My question is did the book evolve from year to year? The book I have was possibly printed in 1953 and my tractor is a 1959. Did the form number change from year to year? If so does anyone have a list of form numbers or can I get that info from Cat?

Also, I guess I should ask now before Cat tells me this line is NLA. Does anyone have one of these lines they would sell?

yes they did release updates from time to time. and update pages were available to update older books. to my knowledge the form numbers didnt change.

they also released service bulletins but these went to dealers only. either way you had to keep up to date yourself. a book from a later year would have it.

you may be able to get that brazed up or a new flange brazed on your local general engineering/machining workshop should be able to help you.
