Good morning folks.  I have the above pump on my D47U36219 and am having no luck finding the correct parts listing.  My parts manual says for s/n 6W5001-up.  I cannot find the parts listing for the 9W.  In question is the PTO internal splines from the crankshaft and the male spline on the pump.  The splines are nearly 1/2 worn off and I want to check on replacements.  Being this is likely to be lightly used, do I slap it on and run it, or are parts available to repair the parts?  I want to get things right if I can afford to.  Thanks for your help and advice!  Elton
 

These should be the drive parts for your 9Wxxxx. There are other styles for the D4 #44.
Finding these parts is a challenge but having the correct part numbers is a start.

if you cant get those parts a good engineering shop should be able to cut a new shaft for you or build up the old splines and remachine them depends how fine the spline is.

Thank you trainkid88 and Neil. After cleaning the parts real good, instead of 1/2 gone it looks like the splines are only about 1/3 worn. The tractor is 65 years old with no doubt lots of hard work behind it. I don't expect to do day after day of hard work, so maybe I'll pack it up with good stiff grease and put it back in. We're getting ready to start a new house so the dozer may be needed soon. If it breaks later, I still have the option of having the shafts made. I wish I had the time and money to do it now. Yes, I believe that a good machine shop could take a new male and female end and weld it up to my parts and make new ones. For now, I am going to take the cover off the hydraulic unit, change the filter, front seal, and put bushings in where the selector shaft goes into the top. Hopefully this will get me going.
