i would take it to a local small engine shop and have it sonic bathed after giving it a good soak in hot soapy water to rinse off some of that crud. the model should be cast stamped on the side. a little CLR or the like will help disolve the encrustation short soakings only. white vinegar also works and is cheap. use a old tooth brush to scrub it. note it must be rinsed well and oiled with rp7,wd40 etc to prevent flash corrosion.
do you have a parts book for your machine. if so try the dealer or florin tractor they should be able to supply parts. if your a acmoc member you would have access to the member library. there is a copy of the parts book in the library.
i just found it yes its not real clear to read but it does have the part numbers. and a google search with those numbers might just get you the ensign company numbers and then you might be lucky at a auto parts joint.

Look like either an AEL or an AES. If I had to guess I would say AEL which is for the early Twenties. On the flange that has the two bolts there should be some numbers stamped into one side of it. Some of the AEL's also have a L stamped on top of that flange. I would send it to Chad.

unless you are totally into the original/restore thing, another small carb will work flawlessly....even if it is remotely close to spec..

-carbs are unbelievably forgiving and compensate even if 100 percent not correct for application..just another option etc..

always dropping GOLD, all you have to do is just pick it UP !
