CAT parts and service books

I was given boxes of parts and service manuals for D2-D10 tractors. I would like to give them to someone or a club to use and pass on to others for free. I hope they are not sold. I was thinking of bringing them to Santa Margarita next year to be placed on a table for interested collectors. Please give me your ideas.
i have a few more pictures but this gives an idea of what I have.
Thanks

That’s very thoughtful of you. We will have a Chapter 15 meeting first weekend of December, which you are welcome to attend; you could share your idea with our chapter or someone might have suggestions.
That is quite a nice set of books you received, I am sure you won’t have any problems unloading them. JM

im sure the club would be happy to use them as part of the archive collection and they could be digitised to fill in blank spots in the tech library. some of those look to be in very good condition.

All good thoughts, I welcome more ideas and will make a decision in a few weeks. Right now, I am leaning to the idea of digitizing and then making the originals available to the collectors for a reasonable donation? They are in excellent shape.

if you have duplicats the caterpillar company archivists might be interested especially if they havent got those copies in the collection or if there better condition than what they do have.

if you have the time and patience to scan the manuals thats excellent. contact john guant or deebo for details how you can submit them for the tech library.
all clubs depend on volunteers donating time and expertise.
