A 'pricy' standby. But if you cain't afford to be without power, it'd be a 'MUST-HAVE'.

Back in 2016 in what I call the "summer from hell", I spent 13 day at one stretch in the hospital and about that many more days a few at time. I was on the second story and right below my window was the emergency generator. The first time it fired up I was out of it just knew something was different. But the second time a big rumble and a cloud of very dark smoke. Then a very good feeling came over me, that they where testing weekly that all was good with the back up power system. To think what could happen if they had you cut open from one end to the other and power goes out, a knew appreciation for having backup generators. I never found out if it was Cat powered or not, but 2 of the biggest exhaust pipes I have seen coming out of the roof on the building just out the widow.

Heck Ray, that big puff of smoke probably revived you! You needed your dose of exhaust to liven you up. Glad that you are well again. JM
