D2 restoration and a 6U deck swap and later clutch with greasable throwout bearing. 
  Installed the updated deck yesterday. 

Never a shortage of things to do in your shop.

Anyone else notice something in the first picture?

You have an audiance that is now looking closer than you would have expected.
Yes - the tracks were the obvious - there are many other things there - and one that is always as obvious - the tracks are buried with tools, manuals, etc. Tracks are almost as bad as fenders and workbenches for collecting materials.

How about that flat belt drive drill press -- one does not see those everyday!

Surely that is a D4 rather than a D2 as well.
 There is a D2 3J and a 6U D4
