Juiceman,yes,Dave Starn. Last time I was at his shop was two years ago, he had some big crawlers.I can't find the pictures.
Dad had some of the Starn Peaches.They were late peaches and dad wouldn't let us start school until peach season was over.
Hughson School District had a lot of Starn peaches and delayed the start of school a few years since most kids would be working in the peaches.
Now hardley any peach orchards left.

Potato Wilson thank you, yes I did build the the canopy and the rake.

D2-5U.  Have had it over 20 years.

 

D2 5U made in 1950. Run likes a champ but slobbers when it is not worked hard. Since I have owned it I have replaced the radiator and rebuilt the water pump. A few months ago I replaced the main clutch.
