This is an open memo from our show coordinator:

I would like to personally invite all of the National Chapters of ACMOC to
be represented at this years show featuring Caterpillar equipment. I have
already been contacted by Chapter 7, Iowa, as their intentions to be
represented. We at Pawnee, Ok will do all we can in preparation for you to
be at the show, but I would like to ask if you would let me know ahead of
time as to your intentions. It would be most helpful to our club if you
know of your plans to attend and would be able to bring your own table, if
possible. Please, let me know how many of the chapters plan to attend and
if you need us to provide a table to promote your Chapter.
We look forward to your attendance at the Show on May 4-5-6 of 2007.

I spent the day at the Pawnee steam thrasher and gas engine show. The weather was great, could tell that there had been some rain but whats a little mud when there are so many things to see. Just before the parade, the guys from Ks City got there and with their dozers and those all ready there, really made a good caterpillar show..Enjoyed every bit of it...I commend those who have worked so hard to put the show on. So many hit and miss engines, tractors and steam engines and other items too numerous to mention, I wore myself out looking and asking questions and admiring the skill of so many people that put the show on..Now my old D2 better get ready cuz this show gave me the where with all to get after her and finish what Iv been working on for several years.. Just wait till the next show boys..

Replied by Bill-KCKs on topic Me too.
Freshly sunburned, sitting in the hotel in Ponca City, getting ready to head back to KC in the morning. I'm ready to get my Twenty-Two in shape....It's going to need a LOT of work before it's "show ready."

I still need wheels for my Russell Hi Way Patrol No. 3 grader. 26" front, 32" rear. But that's another project......
