I'm sure someone will tell you where the wires go,but if not you can figure it out for yourself (like I had to do for my Allis U). Take the magneto cap off and see where the rotor points when each piston is at TDC with the valves closed. That should give you an idea about where each plug wire goes.

Another way is to crank the engine over slowly and see which terminal of the magneto fires for each cylinder. Take out all of the spark plugs and feel for compression on each cylinder, one at a time. When the piston is at top dead center check the magneto to see which terminal is firing.

Also, DEFINITELY keep the old plugs, you'll need them!

Adjust your carburetor by starting with both main & idle screws at 1-1/2 turns open (screw them in until they seat and back out 1-1/2 turns). That should be close enough to get it started. Set the throttle at about half and start the engine. Listen to how it runs, if it's running smooth you're probably good to go. If it misses or backfires the mixture is probably lean so you should richen the mixture (unscrew the main needle a little). If you get black smoke and it runs rough it's probably too rich (screw the needle in a bit). Adjust the main screw until it runs best and then idle the engine down and adjust the idle screw. Take your time, make small adjustments and remember that sometimes it can take a few seconds for the adjustments to change the way it runs. Screw the needles in or out until it runs best, ...or "screw with it until you get it right".

It's hard to explain just how to adjust a carburetor. If you lived closer to Kalamazoo I'd stop by your place and show you how to do it (much easier to explain things if you can see & hear what it's doing). Once you've done it a few times you'll get the hang of it.

Fuel pumps are more about Volume than pressure. Unless the pump is for a lawn mower you should be safe. Don't worry about it.:thumb:
