I agree with cruiser. Why should the ForSale/Wanted section of this forum be donminated by Bumpus and items from other sites.

Adding additional columns is extra money.Especially if it is to give someone, not a affiliated with the club or board, free advertising. If they want to advertise here, let them pay the dues. I also agree with the potential for liability.
How many of the people in this poll are actual club members? The membership is who pays for this bulletin board. I for one ,do not think we need to expand the bulletin board to advertise for someone else.
I have looked at many of the leads given, I personally find some of them misleading and excessive. At this point I am neither pro nor con, but there is a limit.

I like that Bumpas post's what he does..one does not have to look if you're not interested..as far as liability we are probably more liabal if a member post his own stuff and is lieing or not showing the bad side because being a member implies they are giving factual info and have been checked out..and i am sure there are people on here who say they are members and in fact are not! As well as we have people who say they are not members but probably are. Of course a MEMBER would never try to get away with selling something that wasn't quite what he said it was.

why is it different if chrisco posts craig list and bumpas posts ebay?? to me there is no differance! neither can vouch that the adds are correct and factual,

I think a good reason to post them on here is so our members who have a vast knowledge can look them over and find the faults so we all know.

different people like different things, from d11 to old watch fobs it's all "Caterpillar" and thats what counts!

Now Bumpus strikes me as a very intelligent guy ,,who is taking these comment on board ..To stop the other posts being drowned by his posts ,I suggest he posts one thread ,then edits it to add new finds ..To stop the thread getting too large ,once it gets to say 15 items ,he starts a new thread . Good idea ?

Well Glen ,I can't speak for him ,but i think He is posting these things for the benifit of forum members , He has answered those agaist him with polite suggestions for how they can not be bothered by his posts .. I will leave it to him to say if he thinks it is a good idea .
