Default What are These for??? OT

There’s about 25 of these setting next to our little canal. Locks like they would be used to make a platform over the water. But why?

Those are required to be installed before low income housing is built nearby. Something to do with FEMA or SPCA or ???

    Default Me Thinking?

    Hi, Chuck C and TOGNOT.
Now you've just done gone and blown my pet theory out of the water. Here was me thinking that they were so the ducks could walk across the canal without getting their delicate little tootsies wet.

    Ah, well!

    Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes.

I was thinking precast pillboxes for hardcore Normandy invasion re-enactors.

    But more likely culverts.

    Hey Oil Slick,

Do you happen to know how tall they are? IF they are over 6 feet tall then I have a great idea for quite a few of them.

Place them all side by side until you get the whole bunch about 100 yards long and place some HARD back stop at the end on the string of them and pile some sand in there then you can sit at the other end and do a whole lot of target shooting without upsetting the neighbors. They MAY hear a little noise but you can tell them that it is you trying to swat flies...

No longer have my D7-3T. Plan to buy a D8-2U & D8-13A in future.

Now, I no longer have access to the D8-2U and 13A.

Also, I simply LOVE Kitty Cats. Had 19 at one time. Not quite as many now.

Are they required to keep them from drowning or drill a few holes so waist can easily be disposed of?
