    Default A very nice gift

So my friend and neighbor Vern restored a Holt 30hp harvester engine at the same time I was working on my 45 Holt. We helped each other out quite a bit. I helped Vern with his engine assembly, and he showed his appreciation today by presenting me with a cool belt buckle patterned after the name tag on his engine. It was cast by a foundry in Joeseph Oregon. It will go great with my Harris buckle.

    Thanks Vern

    Bruce P.

    Default Nice!

That was a very thoughtful and practical gift. Definitely one of a kind. Some folks collect belt buckles; I bet he could make a few extra dollars auctioning off any extras if he had anymore cast....JM

That is very very cool, well done Vern, Bruce, you are going to have to start wearing belts, kind of like hats. On those cold wet rainy days you can hook both buckles together and pretend harvest.
