Labor Day Weekend Chapter 4 members will be attending two events.
The first event will be the Pontiac IL Show featuring Caterpillar. Some of the chapters members will be displaying and working their machines. They should have a good turn out of machines.
The 2nd event Chapter 4 will be attending will be Rock River Thresheree. near Edgerton WI. There will be equipment on display and dirt moving in the sand box.
Chapter 4 welcomes , members, non members to come out and enjoy the shows There should be some nice pieces of equipment at each show, and some fun watching watching the equipment work the way it did in it's prime.

Terry, I will be at the Pontiac show with merchandise and membership applications on Saturday. I hope to see you and the other Chapter 4 members.

Bruce I am sorry, but I will not be at Pontiac. Dave, Bill Hanson SR, Betty and Gary are going as far as I know. There may be a couple of other members. Since I am in charge of the sand box at Rock River I will be there. With some of the other Chapter 4 members and at least one Chapter 7 member. If all goes Ok we will be doing athe 2-4-6-8. as it looks like I will have a couple of D2s,( Chuck's is already there) we have a D4 plus another one, We have the D6 and D8 We have a couple of D7s, but not in running order. We also have a very nice Northwest25 setting outside the gate waiting to come in the park, it is Cat powered. Have a good time in Pontiac. Let me know if they ever got the Buckeye Steam engine going. We have its twin up here in Edgerton.

We have had a lot of fun the past few days and the next two day in the dirt at Rock River. We have had several Chapter 4 members at the show and several ACMOC members. Machines of many colors and vintages. I will post photos when I can.

I have not done this for a while here are some photos from Chapter 4 Labor Day Weekend. Hope they come through OK

I guess I missed the discriptions, The first photo is of a nice D-4 owned by a local collector loading the Ryan Dump wagon. The next couple of photos shows Kent Bates on the clubs D-4, and Jeff Carls on his D-2. Then there is a photo of Allen Steel's 44 pull Grader he bought out of the Wade Estate. There is also a coupe of views on the big Adams pull grader that I am half owner in.

Yes, it was a good time, little hot in the Sun but an enjoyable weekend for all who attended. Most equipment ran great allowing for alot of seat time. There were a couple of young boys running Graders and Dozers who made it look way too easy!
A Big Thank You to the Thresheree Club and the local ACMOC Chapter for putting on this Event.
A Bigger Thank You should go to Terry Welch for his perseverence to make a Rock and Dirt Show the success that it is!
