At the recent Allora Heritage Weekend held every year on the Australia Day long weekend . There was a good turnout of caterpillar tractors
along with Chapter 18 Members and friends. On the Friday preceding the weekend there was much needed wide spread rain over much of S E Qld.
This made the prospect of loading and getting tractors to the show site a bit daunting. The rain cleared on Friday afternoon with perfect weather
for the rest of the weekend although a lot of water under foot early on Saturday. Chapter 18 were allocated a great spot to display tractors on and in front of a disused loading ramp. The damp conditions reduced the number of tractors on display.
Chapter meeting was held on Sunday morning at 9am with about 26 members and friends present.
The usual business was discussed with the next meeting to be held in conjunction with the Heritage Truck Association. Truck show . Held at the
Rocklea Show Grounds on the 16th & 17th of May. Chapter Meeting will be at 9am on Sunday morning.
Hope to see a good turnout of members and friends with any items of interest along.

Nice pic there Andrew of the turbo fordson. it will be at the kingaroy rally in September this year. The bloke piloting it is a major wheel in our machinery club. I heard a whisper that the ACMOC will be making the trip up to the rally? We are having a caterpillar feature this year.

Yeah I certainly hope to get to Kingaroy...Sounds like it will be a great weekend. I always think it would be nice to be able to arrive early Friday and leave Monday but some thing always gets in my way.
Pity we can not road train in to Kingaroy.
Hope fully lots of other Chapter 18 members get there..
