Hi I was wondering when the next meet is it might not be for a while because of weather but just wondering thank you.

Well we are having a "work day" at Dan Wilhelm's place near Monticello, MN coming up soon on Saturday, Nov 24 which will be a rather small crowd, perhaps 10 or fewer people there but it's always a good time, more fun than the actual meetings for a person like me because you can actually get your hands dirty, and is a pretty laid back atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Beyond that the next actual meeting will be the Christmas banquet, likely held after Christmas though due to everyone's busy schedule around the holidays. I don't have a set date for that one yet, but if you're interested in attending either one just let me know and I'll make sure to forward you all the necessary details.

The agenda for the work day is to get Chapter 3's RD4 put back together and running so Dan can get it out of his shop, then turn our attention to the No.11 grader engine we are planning on using and attempting to get it to run for the first time since having it torn down for repairs. Hopefully everyone will be well covered in diesel soot by the end of the day!

You just missed one last Saturday, April 6th. A few of the Chapter members got together near Harmony, MN and installed a different transmission and reinstalled the engine in the Chapter 3, Model 11 project. The diehard folks worked hard and had it running and out cruising by 7 PM. There will be a Chapter 3 meeting on a Saturday in May at Monticello. Date not set yet. I will notify you when it does get set. The next work day will be probably in June when it dries up enough to salvage the original wood cab off the spare Model 11 chassis in my field and get packaged to make the trip to the project grader.
