Just for the heck of it....here is the tooling that Cat used for pulling brake shafts.
The slide hammer still works best for me.....can be made out of most anything....my favorite is sched. 80 pipe with drilled cap to match bolt size required.......an old Ford T98 transmission cluster gear for a weight to pound up against a welded stop.
