On another tractor list I belong to, a member was seeking advice about old Cats, did a Google search, and found the address of the old board. I had to steer him to this board. I'm sure this has happened with other persons, too.

Unaware people are still occasionally posting on the old board. If the board is continuing to have a web presence for archival purposes, maybe it would be a good idea to install a lock to prevent any further postings, plus also have a prominant message re-directing people to this board.

There are actually several posts on the old boards. I found it by searching acmoc on google.

I've been working to incorporate the posts from the old board here, mostly examining the best way to integrate it into the current system in such a way that it can be searchable with the built-in search engine.
