Wille:

That reminds me of us getting that old girl ready for the trip to the show in Tulare:
Looks like you have her down to about 15'2" or so.
Watch out for the low bridges!!!

Take care

Willie, good news! The gear teeth barely made contact at the 2004(?) Tulare show, and it was obvious that a replacement should be fabricated, or the old one welded up. She is a very old girl, and doesn't take well to travel, as we found out. Stove iron, as the fictional character Botts would say, as he was comparing tractors like her to the Holt Caterpillar. GWH

The plan is to to have 2 more just like it. I have been tryin really hard to get the other 2 to comite to bringing theirs. If so it will probably be the only time 3 have ever been so close together. We are also getting a good lineup of steamers to attend we have about 10 so far

Willie.....Contact Ardenwood Farms ( EAst Bay Regional Parks) here in Fremont. We have a Best Steamer on the farm that is a HUGE hit whenever we have a Harvest Festival. We also have been struggling for years to build a new barn for her. Terry

You no longer have Best steamer no. 175 as your museum in Oakland has sent the steamer to Willits for the forseeable future due to their concern over liability issues involving the steamer. :(
