This tractor followed me home recently, it was set up to run a buzz saw, seems to do what it is supposed to, and is in pretty good condition.
It had been owned by a neighbor since the seventies who had used it for logging, clearing, fighting fire, sawing fire wood, etc.
I had been helping him work on it and start it for the past year or two, and he had told me he wanted to sell it to me. with winter coming he decided it was time.

Pretty darn nice, I bet a Deere collector would love it. What year? John

The records I have would have it being shipped to the Lindeman plant on either 9/8 or 9/15 of 1944.

I don't know how much you paid, & wouldn't be so crass as to ask, but hope you know how much those things are worth...an older friend of mine restored one & got big $$ for it, & the antique dealer he sold it to got even more, & it didn't have the blade...Also, I didn't know there were any painted yellow-is it green underneath?

I checked and it is all green underneath, other than the obvious parts that have been replaced and are bright green, one of the previous owners really did a through job of primeing and painting it so none of the origional green color showed.
