4400 pony engine---???? what will it fit? was created by LeakyBoot

Have one on an old power unit. Rope start. Runs good. Can buy a 212 grader that has pony trouble. I have not seen the grader. I'd say no way my pony will fit. Am I correct?

That starting engine from D4400 will fit a D2 or D4 & the D3400 & D4400 & the D311 & the D315 but the later tractors or all in fact you might have to shuffle a few hookup parts to work but the basic engine is the same.There is a few things with the late one that look different esp. the heads where the spark plugs are in the heads but the complete engine should fit right on.
