Thanks for the replies.I've posted a short 'part 1' history of it on the other antique bb.its a D8H 68A 5842 circa 1974.It consists of about 4 other D8's.I know for sure that the motor is not 5000 series.

Hi Dave,hope your well,i see you,ve had the paint brush out,looks a straight and tidy tractor,looks like that 235 you was telling me about,bet it handles the box ok,do you still run the D4.

Hi Roly, and D4c24a, yes, thats the 235 22A,(978) the 270 22A (1374) is in the workshop at the mo. another 235 22A on the way, ex Dick Hampton tractor too!

D4 and box have been out since March and is still out and working! I need to get it back to get the cab on!
