I am wanting to know the bore and stroke of the Gas Sixty. Mine has been bored out to 6.813, but I don't know the factory specs off hand.

The info I have shows the Best & Cat 60 at 6-1/2 bore x 8-1/2 stroke.
The Holt 60 at 7 in. bore and 8 in. stroke.

There were also the 6 3/4" jugs and pistons that you could put on the Cat Sixtys. I would love to find a set with the high altitude pistons.
Thanks

I parted out one SIXTY engine that had two 6.5" jugs, one 6.85, and one 6.855.

Ken, can you post some more pictures of your cat SIXTY project?

Were the 6 3/4 jugs a factory cat part. I am trying to get my sixty ready for the 08 national. The heads need a little TLC. I want to clean up the jugs a little but don't know how much more I can take off.

The 6 3/4 jugs were a Cat part. I can not remember the part number for them but they will have a later part number like 1B4754 for example and not one like 96-A.
My Sixty has not had much done on it for the last couple of years. We (my family) has a small farm that has been in the family for 100 years and I got sick of listening to one brother complain about having to help haul hay three or four times a year so I bought a self propelled bale wagon which ate all of the funds for a couple of years. Last year I bought a small combine. I hope that bu Aug. of this year I will be getting started on my Sixty again and then I will start posting pictures again.
Thanks
Ken
