Concerning the non adjustable idling jet, no.18 in the manuel... this controls the amount of fuel taken from the high speed metering well...this brass tube is broken off 3\16 ahead of the threads ,how is one going to get this out.

If the tube is pressed in you may be able to thread a small screw into the tube and perhaps be able to turn it out. OR, you can take a small ball burr on a dremal tool and go inside the tube and relieve it just enough to ease the tension on the tube (Do not grind into the carb housing!) the pick the tube out where you have ground. good luck and take it slow.
