My info shows a manufacturing date of 1977, near end of production which ended at #1703 in 1978.

My info from Cat Specs book shows a 22c built from 1967-68.It also shows it is a powershift trans,which would not be an ag cat.Are you are sure of serial number.The 20J and the 84J are direct drive ag cats close to the same year model.

David, I have a couple of serial number books which list different dates of origin - 1 - 1977 60" gauge and 90 F/w hp. The other states 1974 as the date so it's take your pick time until someone comes up with more info.

David - My book says 1977 .. S/No's of production in that year were from 44H1488 to 44H1661 ..
