I Finally Got My 22 Running, But Not With Out More Catches, Has A Loud Rap, Sounds Like A Rod?? Is There Still Rod And Mains Avaible For This? Any Thoughts On Parting It Out? Machine Is Complete Moves And Steers Fine, Mag Has Just Been Gone Through From Mainely Magnetos With A 1 Year warrenty. Other New Parts As Well, Any Input Would Be Great!!.

Hello, If you suspect that it is a bearing the first thing I would do is pull the pan and check the clearances. If one is just a bit out of spec you can remove some shim stock and get it tightened up again. If it is a rod it should have a fairly heavy knock that changes with engine RPM. If you are interested in parting this out or selling as a complete unit, let me know. Have a great day!

chad, not sure yet? ill pull the pan and decide from there, wouldnt mind trading the 22 plus some $ for a decent d-2 or some thing close to that size
