I need to know how much my machine weighs. It has a cable control unit with a manually angled blade. I don't know the serial number. It has the original pony motor.

The machine is in North Alabama on family land. I need to get it to Columbus, Georgia where I live. Haulers want to know the weight. I know the blade is 9'-8" wide.

My long-term plan is to restore the machine.

Thanks in advance for a response. James D. Harris, Columbus, GA

That blade width isn't a Cat match for either 8U or 9U D6
Angle blade with ccu for 8U is 10'-4" @ 3,877 lbs
Angle blade with ccu for 9U is 11'-10" @ 4,151 lbs

Basic operating tractor weight 8U is 17,340 lbs.
Basic operating tractor weight 9U is 17,730 lbs.

Thank you. I assume I'll add one of the blade widths to the basic machine weight to get the total weight correct? If so I'll stay on the safe side and use the heavier weight.

I really appreciate your response!
