I felt that I should direct people to where the Private Message functions are on the new website in case you have not already found them.

When logged in and on the Forum page, you will see your avatar (picture, or black figure if you havn't uploaded an avatar picture) on the right hand side of the yellow band above the black "Forum band" near the top of the screen Click on this.
A drop down menu will appear and the fourth item from the bottom is entitled "Private Messages", click this option.
You will be taken to a screen for maintaining your profile. At the top right hand side just below the block entitled "ABOUT", you will see a small grey envelope. This is the private message function. If the envelope is open then you have read all, or do not have any private messages, if the envelope is closed it means you have new private message(s)
Click on the envelope and you will see your private messages. Click on a particular message to read it.
If you elect to send a private message, you will need the name (website ID) of the person you wish to send your message to as there isn't a look up facility there.
