Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to help a lady determine the year of her late husband's tractor. It appears to be D7E . I am not near her so trying to give her direction to find the serial numbers. For the engine, is it left side rear of engine? What about frame? Is that going to be visible? Much thanks

It would be above the starting engine transmission on the diesel engine block. The one on the rear left frame is probably covered by the winch. Looks like a high hp built from "66" to "69" starting with SN 48A6884-up.

Hi MM,
there is likely a S/No plate on the firewall just near where the de-compression lever is or would be if a direct electric start engine.--near the right brake pedal.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

-just wondering if a D7f serial number would be located in the same position...on the diesel engine block above the pony motor..?

always dropping GOLD, all you have to do is just pick it UP !
