I take it that the glass bowl is no longer available. I have emailed Dana with no response. My latest D4 still has original lines with shut off on left. I hate to tamper with it. I think I can plumb the line direct from tank with npt fittings. I have stand pipe with filter screen in tank. Tank becomes filter bowl right?

It has been so hot and no shade tree I have not been able to work on it. Now with fractured femur it will be a few days yet.

I believe the same bowl as fits the D6/318 engine should fit yours. A neighbor borrowed my spare and returned me a new one from Cat since covid arrived. They are not glass, but made of metal. I had my oldest of this type off this spring , could be 20 years already. Had bit of lite rust, nothing to bad.

Busy today but with check tonight hopefully if you need the parts nu off the new box.

You can get a new bowl from Cat, it's just that it's steel. That's way easier than replumbing - about a 30 second change out

Hi Team,
have seen them made from a suitable length of copper or steel tubing cut to length and a disc silver soldered to one end.

I got out my parts book to confirm glass bowl is 9 B 4514. I see D4 tractors before 7U 112262 were plumbed direct to tank with no filter bowl or shut off. They did have a screen in the lower control side shut off which was nice.

If the wife ever calms down I will try to get her to call Florin. I do not use phone due to hearing loss.
