What size bolts fit the track roller frame on a D4 7U. The holes are already treaded.

and smear them lightly with grease or anti seize so they tighten easily and properly. after cleaning those threads well. its no fun getting things half on and a bolt breaks or fails to tighten properly thats how things get smashed later. ive seen a few machines needing costly repairs be cause bolts were not properly tight or had worked loose.

I found those unused holes plugged with cork to protect them on some tractor.
Again proper cleaning and possibly re tap.
Seems like I have a 5J that has the holes marked but not drilled nor tapped. Not nearby so can't say for sure

I did all mine a couple of years ago. Only 3 out of 16 came out by unscrewing. The rest had to be drilled or blown out. I retapped them, added some copper anti-seize and fitted 16 new lug bolts. I had to remove the blade mounts a couple of weeks ago to get some machining work done and they undid very easily.

Cheers,
Neil

Thanks for your help. I got the bolt and clean all the threads and mounted the braces. I’m going to use Abe gee rear mount pump for now, but I’m looking for a cat 44 front mount.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Again
