We didn’t have much Le Tourneau literature in the members Technical Library but thanks to Daryl we’ve got some now! And more manuals being added all the time.

Another 15 manuals from Daryl added! Including a Diesel Sixty Five parts book and this amazing D6 parts catalog including a price list at the end! All works of art. What a shame the world has lost the ability to produce this quality..

Hi, Deebo.
Thank you for posting these. Re the quality, it is not that the world has lost the ability to do it. Indeed, we can do WAY better now but cost got in the way of 'doing it better' and so now these things are produced to a budget.
I have been told that when Holt #111 was sold to a company in Florida, Ben Holt sent a parts book with it - pretty much unheard of at that time. The parts book consisted of photos of every part of the machine from all the angles necessary to record every dimension of each part plus all relevant detail so that the new owners could reproduce a part if they needed to 'coz there was no parts network at the time.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, Deebo.
I suspect that that particular parts book will be long gone by now - 115 years on - even if you could find who bought that tractor and IF the company even exists today, let alone still have the book. Checking that out should keep somebopdy occupied for a while. LOL.
Maybe you could take Don Hunter's #111 apart and re-do the book????????????????????
But it was one HELLUVAN achievement for its day.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
