Just curious. Does ACMOC advertise on social media like youtube? I have been watching a series on rebuilding a D2 Cat and all I see are ads that have no relevance to me. Some of these videos have 30-40k views. I wonder how many of these viewers have even heard of ACMOC or what the club offers. Maybe if they knew, they would join to learn more. Even if the club picked up 10% of the viewers it would help.

IF the club hadda channel, I have a few clips that I could upload, mostly relating to the Best Of The West shows here at Santa Margarita Ranch and some of a Pioneer Day Parade in Paso Robles. (That's local here in CA. for you 'tuther-siders'.)

Over a long period of time the club has not done a good job of maintaining a social media presence. Often times it does not take paid advertising, but simply activity. The likely suspects (YouTube, FB, Instagram, etc.) have all been around for 10+ years but we just have not made the effort to utilize the platforms effectively.
Should we be using them? Yes, for certain, but at this point we have to carefully build a strategy and follow it.
It's on my "list"!

There are several FB pages relating to Caterpillar equipment and old iron. Often there are people with questions that are answered by some from this group; they are usually asked if they have ever heard of ACMOC and referred to this website. I am amazed as to the number of folks that have not heard of this group. Hopefully they visit here and become new members! JM
