Craig - you are 100% correct. I MUCH prefer landscape mode, however, for YouTube shorts they have to be in portrait and less than one minute. Shorts have become an important tool for gaining attention to the channel overall, so that's why they are on our channel. I really wish that YT would accept short landscape vids for the shorts, but, alas, not there yet.

I think that YT created shorts because of TikTok, and TikTok uses portrait in my view because so many people do not properly film things!

I hope that people are enjoying the longer form videos, take a look at the Holt 75 Illustrated Guide and let me know if you like those, if so, I'll do more of that type (also let me know if I got anything wrong!)
