17A Farmer has eagle eyes. Yes, it is a 21' and former Danna and Danna JD Killefer disc. I brag on them because they and their cousins had one of the largest and well maintained fleets of Caterpillar crawlers at one time here. Some of them even went to CAT school during the slow times to learn. So well versed, that often the local dealers would call them for help and advice!
It spends its time on the Sacramento Delta (rental $) by one of my favorite farmer friends, who also rents one of my D7E's to pull it with. Make it grunt in 4th gear.
Yes, I should have a 14' Towner stubble disc available. I need to do my rental inventory and measure the blade diameter. It was purchased not far from the area where "Willie" used to live, by Elk Creek, CA. It had 31.5" blades when we picked it up, surely less by now. Nice and stout. The 16' in the photo went to some high dollar vineyard development in Napa, CA.JM
