Quad, you're pretty hopeful about the abilities of that DW6. That scraper is about 2 sizes too large for the tractive ability/drawbar pull of the DW6. A rubber-tyred machine has about half the tractive ability of the tracked version, for the same HP, so a Cat 40 scraper would make a better match for the ability of the DW6.

What he needs is a properly sized pusher! I guess you push with what you got though:)

Quad, I bet you could feel the D4 when he came in!
Does having the scraper hooked behind tame the ride of the '6 any?
Have you found a scraper or trailer for that beautiful DW10?

Nice machines, looks like lots of fun!

ccjersey : Gilbert has the original CW10 Laplant Choate scraper for the DW10, but is not restored yet.
