MIght check eBay. I sold one on eBay some 6 or 7 years ago for nearly $200. It was a steam whistle and was about 15" tall and 3" or 4" diameter. Don't have the foggiest idea what it was off of.

You could make your own. Trying googling for plans.

There are companies out east that make them. I have seen them in McMaster-Carr. There are books that tell you how to build them. Like everything else they have gone up in value(orginial whistles) I had the chance to blow one that was valued at about $8,000 last year at our show. A set up with a tripple tree could be up in the $20,000 range.

Come on over and join the Steam Whistles Group at Yahoo. In the files section are spreadsheets to do the calculations. Lots of very knowledgeable folks on there (I'm on there, but I'm not one of the knowledgeable ones...)

There's a couple of companies represented on there, too...M&D Whistles comes to mind.

Whistles can even be built out of PVC and run on low pressure (30-psi).
